Was too tired to blog longer last night.. I even fell asleep watching episode 4 of Gundam 00..

My Lone Wolf book 2: Fire on the Water finally arrived yesterday, 25 days overdue.. Edges weren't as damaged as the 1st book, but what pissed me off is that its not of the same height as book 1! Where's the uniformity man?? Well at least there's a bonus adventure inside where you get to be Lord-lieutenant Rhygar, a Knight of the White Mountain.. Gonna finish book 1 asap so I can dive into book 2 straight away..

Pre-ordered some Transformers from Falcon's Hangar.. Seems like TakaraTomy's releasing the Classics line too.. Already got what I was interested in from that series so just ordered some new movie toy molds.. Hopefully I can wrap up the Movie line with these last few figures..

After lunch I came back to office to hear that a monitor lizard was spotted nearby, albeit a baby one.. It climbed into some small gap and refused to come out.. Pest control was called in and he caught the fella after a couple of hours.. Here's some pics:




It's still alive btw.. Saw it move when the pest control guy took it away.. He's gonna release it some 2 miles away or so I was told..

Dropped by CD-Rama after work just to have a look but ended up buying 卓文萱's latest album for $18.95.. Crap I didn't even know it was out.. Some fan I am.. There's a pictorial book included (*droolz*), though don't have bonus dvd of her MVs..

While I was having my 鱼片汤 dinner, this cute little girl in one of those PAP kindergarten uniform sat at my table and started writing some chinese words on a piece of paper.. She asked me how to write '鱼', '龟', '虫' and '鸟'.. Luckily my chinese still can make it (thanks dad)..

Ok better get started on Lone Wolf before I get tired and fall asleep at the laptop again.. I think I'm getting too old liao.. Didn't tire so easily last time.. Really should do some exercise provided I can drag my ass out of the house..

Ok I'm finally getting down to writing my virgin post, more than a month after I created this blog.. Why start now? I seriously how no idea.. Just felt like it I guess..

Seems like my external hard drive is kicking the bucket.. Takes ages to load and copy files.. Manage to copy out most of the data in it.. Can't even reformat.. Haiz need to buy a new one liao..

Was watching the Cancer Charity Show last night when I heard some really retro songs by 伍思凱 and managed to find the mp3s of 特别的爱给特别的你, 寂寞公路 & 爱要怎么说.. They're in my Shuffle now, along with a slew of other retro chinese songs.. Still looking for the Chen Lei hokkien songs though.. Anyone who has it can send me and save me the trouble of looking for them?

The Pool-Arse match was really entertaining.. Gerrard scored an early goal when the Arse wall literally went to pieces during a free-kick, which set the tone for Arse to attack & they proceeded to constantly barrage the Pool goal.. Arse's one-touch football is simple breath-taking; but their final ball is still left wanting.. A draw's a fair result, though I had hoped Pool do us a favour so that United could retain top spot.. This saturday's game is gonna be a cracker!

Woke up in the middle of the night cos I had sudden serious cramp in my right calf.. Haven't had one in quite awhile.. I stood up to stretch the muscle but I fell and landed hard.. Amazed that my scream didn't wake my parents.. The cramp went away but my right big toe was hurt bad in the fall.. Damn of all times this happens when the SP futsal tournament is only days away.. Crummy luck..

Read in the ST about some world 100m backstroke record being broken in Singapore.. What irks me is does it really warrant 1/4 of the front page & 3/4 on another page in Sports? So what if it was broken in Singapore? Is it a Singaporean who broke it? No! Wtf man.. Editors got nothing else to fill their paper is it.. These kind of news I expect to be in TNP..

Having a mock press conference at class later.. Agenda is the reaction to the acceptance of gay rights in Singapore (don't look at me, I didn't pick the topic).. Brought a grey singlet which I felt would be quite gay-ish if I wore it over my black t-shirt..
